This is a reoccuring thing in most iseksai shojo/family stories where the father is always doting on their daughter and ignore the rest of his children. That scene where the dad is dealing with the younger brother bothered me. You see your kid has difficulty socializing with others and he clearly feels bad and remorseful so as a father to stand there and see your kid shaking from guilt and NOT GIVE HIM A HUG OR WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT is wild to me. Hmmm, I'm not sure if that's completely the same. I've only read snippets of the later chapters, so I don't know much about it, but my main takeaway from it is that Adriane still absolutely hates/is afraid of Ceaser with no hints of love for him, and he doesn't love her either and just wants to use her, while Alphonso was like "I can fix her."
Perhaps the ideal conclusion would be that she doesn't end up with Alphonso, but I don't think that means she should end up with Ceaser either.
