It's been a while since I've felt this way but I'll truly miss this story.
If they hadn't been son and father in the previous timeline, this would feel like the old man's grooming a little kid.

I’m glad the story never tries to excuse him either. Like this man is a rich ahole. He cheats, he schemes, he manipulates until he gets what he wants and ignored everything he seems useless.
He is a fun character and I love when he is around but good god is he creepy. Just a great antagonist in general.

You should work to better yourself to become the person you want to be. You shouldn't determine your worth by comparing yourself to someone else.
I get it that they were hurrying to wrap up Catherine's side story. But it was ridiculous that they left no one to watch the kids even after one went missing. And ngl I scoffed at two of the kids going missing in one night.
It was equally unsatisfying that they spent so much time setting up Catherine's story, but we barely even got any panels with Catherine and the knight after meeting again. Just bulldozed right thru that up until the wedding
This is why it's better to make characters based on people that are dead. You don't have to risk shit not aging well or being inflammatory. Steve Jobs would've been perfect for the job.
