I like how the author humanizes Hamir. I was already feeling a bit tired of stories making everyone against the MC and ML stupidly evil just to fit the narrative. It's often just flat stupid villain after flat stupid villain. Glad we getting some depth here when it comes to Hamir. Kinda makes up for his mother and Diona being 1-dimensional stereotypical villains.

Perhaps it was the back to back "Kyaaaa"s and "EVE!"s that began last chapter cutting the tension. Or like others pointed out, maybe it was cause Agnito didn't think of taking her out of the water first / it wasn't the right time for a kiss.

I feel like it shows his thought process, and honestly guns are a big threat “post apocalypse?” people see that there’s no more laws to follow and think that makes them king especially with firearms
sure but it's redundant as it's obvious. I don't think a lengthy explanation was necessary. I know that some webtoons love explaining every little detail and thought, but most of the time only a sentence or two suffices to get the idea across, at least for their intended audience.
For instance, a simple "To avoid the potential of a future coup or struggle, it's best to only make guns available to those I trust." would've done the job.

If you give someone a position they do not have the qualifications for, you have to spend a great amount of time training them. Helios didn't move a finger to get Diana the proper education she needed as a Crown Princess. Diana wasn't interested in changing and growing into her position. In fact, she should've received the necessary education *before* they got married. These two goof balls are just showing the nobles how right they were to oppose Diana.
This is so true because they are literally showing to the noble that they are indeed blind by love to become complete idiots. Where as we can see, our Hestia is also a commoner but no one is actually opposing her that much... I know that it is all a plot to make Hestia (MC) looks good but damn... they are hopelessly stupid...
I think it’s quite understandable because the original story that Hestia read about Helios and Diana is basically a fairytale. A basic fairytale at that. Nothing was taken into consideration except their burning love for each other. Which lead to the outfall when the fairytale comes to the end and they have to face reality.

He knew what has been going on with Diana all this time and decided to ignore it. He's like the dad of a raging toddler, but with 0 parenting skills.
They did try to train her tho? She literally chased them all away when they gave her advice or didn’t listen and just went with her ideas. There was the head maid in charge at the beginning who advised her on royal etiquette, got ignored and decided to resign. There was her initial supporter who Hestia won over that showed her the social scene. Not to mention Helios and the king with their too gentle guidance. It seems the closest thing they had was the head maid that left but she had more of an advisor role. Important noble and royal figures receive education to prepare them to fulfill their duties. It's supposed to be mandatory education in these sort of settings. Etiquette is def something they learn. But there's also the more important administrative and political teachings, which Diana clearly didn't receive. Those are not things that are taught by maids or etiquette teachers. I don't remember any chapter where Helios got Diana Crown Princess classes. And I also never took what the King said to Helios as "let Diana do whatever she wants". I always took his advice to mean "Support your wife". Helios is not supporting his wife by letting her choose the path of incompetence.
Yes, but Helios is working as the "king" because of his health, he dosen't have that much time to see whatever Diana is doing. The king and Helios were trying to "support" Diana, but ended up spoiling her. And she isn't helping herself or Helios. He'd tried to talk to her and amend their relationship but she refused.
Even before Hestia tried to sabotage her, Diana was arrogantly trying to shame the nobility and other things instead of doing something for the kingdom, the poor and sick.

It's incompetent of Diana to act the way she does. It's equally incompetent of Helios to allow Diana to do whatever she wants, and to shield her from the consequences. More than once in the story he preferred to silence criticism coming from the nobles than to try to correct Diana's actions and way of thinking. They both fucked up. As much as Helios tries to get his shit together now, he is partly responsible for the monster Diana became.
