For anyone that may be lost:
The current arc focuses on Manami's sex friends from school. We are on the story of the second sex friend that fell in love with his teacher. The teacher has some sort of problem where he needs to have several barriers put on him. The student tries to break them so that he and the teacher can be together. However, that backfires because one of the barriers acts as a bomb in case it's broken (if the teacher falls in love basically the barrier breaks and he becomes a bomb). They need someone to deactivate the bomb effect.
They introduced the Haruki character at the end of the latest chapter. It is hinted that Haruki can deactivate the bomb. Who's Haruki and where's Makio? Next mini arc will answer that.

Just an observation but historical sites don't deteriorate that much in 150 years, specially palaces. Both the Palace of Versailles(1600s) and Doge's Palace (1300s) are in gorgeous condition to this day. It's true the structures deteriorate with time but, because they're historical sites, they're strengthened when needed.
I hate it when the second male lead is the one who's known the MC for years and never dared to make a move. And then when the ML comes by and gets the FL, the second male lead gets salty. Seen it to many times and I always think they're just sheep for not going after what they want. You snooze you lose buddy. Why wait for someone else to come take what you want?

Ya but at that point makes no sense to be salty and get jealous when ya were the one who decided to never make a move and be friends for life. At least that's just how I feel about it
