I like harlequins but this was a mess wow. At the start the girl was feeling insecure for no real reason other than his profession and him being actually busy. A plane crashed, the dude is visibly stressed and all she can think of is getting a Christmas present and doing wedding plans. Then the man pulled that whole stunt making a decision for her and creating misunderstandings instead of being honest with her that he ill. I cant with this couple.

I still dont know how this has the cute tag

A cute comic would be something like http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/kawaii_hito_saitou_ken/ . Not something wrapped around fights, rape and lack of communication from start to end. They were never a healthy couple.

The series was cancelled a year ago.

Yeah. I've commented before but I felt like doing it again after I saw several comments asking for more releases. Ch 3 is the last chapter
Some people feel joy from being stay at home spouses and theres nothing wrong about that. This story really didn't depict that well though. It felt kinda like being a mom > than anything else. "Fuck education/dreams/jobs cause now I'm a mom and theres nothing more important than that" kinda vibes. You don't need to let go of your ambitions just cause you married with a kid. If the marriage dont work out then what?
I agree. If someone wants to be a stay-at-home spouse in the future and already talked about it with their spouse, then that’s fine. But Leandro literally threatened to break up with Marnie and take full custody of their child if she doesn’t stop pursuing her dream, and that’s horrible. Even if he allowed a compromise for her to continue the internship at NASA, she now prioritize him over her livelihood.
fr and in all those stories where the guy says that a child must be with his parents, never would THEY give up their status, wealth and job to be a stay at home dad but they expect it from the mother? bffr
Yeah I mean, even putting aside archaic prejudices, that whole "A child needs a mother at home" ideal just isn't realistic anymore at least not in the USA where both parents need to work to be able to afford raising a child. This story feels like it was written in the 90s but it's only from a decade ago.
Nice to see a new comment on an old post tho!! Brings back some memories.
there's alsp the "a childs needs his 2 parents with him" and them getting married bc of that as if seeing his parents not get along and being miserable will make the child happy
Bruh exactlyyyyy
