Why does it feel like the sexual abuse and bullying was glossed over? Probably because it was. It could have been so nice if you excluded the sexual abuse and dealt with the bullying better. But honestly even the threat didn't feel like much of a threat. It seems like the goal was more of getting together with the guy he loved. "I love you, what abuse?"
