Seme CLEARLY fell for uke because they’re fated mates/instincts. There was no background story, previous encounter, special run-ins, etc. to justify their instant attraction. So for the author to back out of the fated mates thing with the cheesy “I would’ve fallen for you whether you were an alpha or beta” is just hilarious!
Isn’t the point of a SEquel is character development??!!!! Rou hasn’t grown a single hair on his stupid a$$, saying something shitty like that, even if he doesn’t really mean it. If Yoshino overheard, he would’ve been hurt! In the prequel Rou was pretty thoughtless, he’s a playboy, experienced in love games, and I felt almost sorry for Yoshino for falling for it but had hopes that their love will make him more mature. The sequel ruined it!
In vol1 their relationship literally had no depth at all. This makes sense for 1. His character, 2. Their relationship
They were having a surface level relationship from the beginning, this shows Rou being thoughtless and that causing issues while Yoshino is uncomfortable but doesnt communicate. And in the end both learn from that, Rou starts to pay attention to how his actions can affect their relationship and Yoshino learns he can to communicate his feelings and be more possessive
If you don't see the development that's on you tbh bc it's literally right there ( ̄へ ̄)
Gotta read this with mind widddeeee open.
Rape, 23yo fcking/dating 17(?)yo, Aya being jobless, but a rich/lucky gambler at casino. Even he acknowledges that he’s a red flag, and he has no good points to share with Nazu’s older sister. And yet this fictional red flag is a completely devoted bf to the cute baby Nazu. I feel so conflicted reading this, but giddy at the same time bc Aya actually loves Nazu a lot, completely devoted to him, and they’re actually happy together
20 years age gap when they’re both adults…ok
20 years age gap when one of them is a high school 16 yo CHILD is not. I swear in high school it’s weird for a freshman to date a senior, much less dating somebody who could’ve literally be his father!
Next, the fact that Seme keeps bringing up Uke’s late mother and how much they resemble each other….doesnt sit right with me. Can’t help but think he’s just a convenient replacement.
This is the equivalence of robbing the cradle. If the mother had stayed w the family, the Seme would’ve raised the Uke as his uncle and maybe even godfather…..this is just disturbing
WHY COULDNT HE AT LEAST BE IN COLLEGE
Guess I’m not the type of audience to appreciate how free these couples are. Yuma is possessive of Minami, getting jealous over harmless gifts, yet continues his pornstar job. Little ironic. And the side couple is literally together because they’re compatible in bed. The whole thing is very shallow….Drawing is great though so if you like mindless smut and fluff I guess this is alright
10/10 art. Chef fucking kiss for smiling Enomoto senpai. But the angel plot twist (?) idk if it can even be called that. More like plot holes. Haruna senpai being a human doesn’t make sense, and neither does him being a literal angel. Honestly though the art is so good and I’m a sucker for friendnemies to lovers trope so this story is still gonna get a 5 star from me

There’s something very melancholic about this whole story. They fit together like a puzzle, two broken hearts who complete each other. I feel so bad for the senpai though, Mii-chan lost his sister but that man lost his love, in a horrific traumatizing kind of way no less. I hope he too finds happiness. For now he just gotta be the reluctant translator and watches over these two love birds
