This alpha has the most self control ever, which is so refreshing in omegaverse where everything is ruled by instincts and most characters seem to just loose their minds. It's so nice to see how responsible he is with the relationship, for making sure that the uke wants it and they are ready for the responsibilities of taking the next step instead of willy nilly biting nape during heat.
First of all, that age gap is nuts. They could be literal father and son, Yullur was his dad’s childhood friend and ex-fiancé.
Second, Yullur was in love w the mother, Louie. No matter how this story develops, prob around the idea of “I love you for you Saya”, it will never be able to convince me that Saya is not somehow Louie’s replacement, or at the least, his shadow. Even the way he’s drawn, he’s more of his mother than his younger twins who look like their dad Zeth. And King Zeth seems too mean and too dead set on tradition of arranged marriage in this story, he’s being made to look like his own father the previous king. Idk how he will act from here but it doesn’t make sense based on his character from the prequel…
Either way, I think I will have to pass on this one. It already started out in ALL the wrong notes for me…
After all the crazy smut and kinks and shock factors this story has to offer, I feel like Jingi has so much more depth and potential for character development than anyone else here. Like when we were shown little him drawing a picture of a happy family for his mom in prison, or when he stared at Myeongi and almost reached out to touch him in the courtyard, to the panels of him almost “buried” in emptiness after hearing his mom has passed. I wouldn’t be surprised if he took the fall for his uncle and went to prison, he’s got more nuances to his character than both Heonjae and Myeongi combined

Myeongi is literally ASKING to be f*cked at this point. Maybe prison is where he needs to stay
