i know this may sound bad, but i really enjoy seeing annette and heiner interact. their relationship is so intense and complex that it’s addicting to follow. imo ch 44 and 45 were both super satisfying since theyre finally addressing their true thoughts and not just keeping elephants in the room.
Honestly, I agree, after all the miscommunication and misinterpretations of each other's actions trying to understand each other's pov is refreshing. Couldn't explain it better myself

I kinda understand the sanitize because it was very hectic and I think the artist had in them to sketch a woman in bruises like the writer described it in the novel

she has no one realistically, i can’t imagine what she’s going through. having do deal with ptsd from being killed across many lifetimes, all while having no one to rely on. i’m glad she’s building a relationship with sion now
