Chapter 14 hits so close to home it almost hurts *laughing helplessly*
Husband and I are doing this "romantic shareholders thingy" for close to 20 years and we're still going strong - but there are simply times, when I hug him and he gets all wide-eyed because "it's been sooo long since you last did that". And while my first idea is to tease him, I notice that he's right - because we get up and get the kids ready for school and hurry to work and prepare dinner when the kids get back and do the chores and shopping and whatnot and before you know it you wrestled the kids through the shower and finally got them to bed and it's 9pm and you got to get to sleep yourself in an hour and a half, because the next morning's already waiting ahead.
"Luv ya" is the thing you tell the other while dozing off on opposite sides of the couch, or when leaving, or when I bring him a cup of coffee - but I guess to a certain degree...*sighs* romance died due to excessive adulting? ^^
