As of right now, if Jo died Ian wouldn't care that much, maybe feel guilty and finally leave is criminal life... But that wouldn't feel very satisfying. If TJ dies it's just wrong, because then if Ian x Jo is end game it feels wrong, and if Ian leaves Jo and goes full gangsta boss, again, it wouldn't feel very satisfying.
I think the 2nd couple is alright? I mean ofc I prefer the main couple, but ideally that's how it goes, they get the main focus. I like that this 2nd couple is so different and needs a lot more work and development than the main one, I think this gives the author bonus points.
