It's on me for thinking the redemption arc/chase arc was gonna start immediately. I mean technically he's chasing, but not the way he needs to be yet
So I get that iheon from real life might be the same as iheon from the book too.. but it sounds like iheon witnessed huimin's death multiple times and is trying to prevent it? He basically says that when thinking to himself at the hotel. So what i dont get is when he meets him again when time resets, why.. does he try to rape him again..? I mean, considering he knows the past and what it all leads to... It didn't work the other times... and huimin always gets depressed and wants to commit suicide...
It really shouldnt have took huimin crying and have a personality change for him to realise "huh. Maybe violence ISNT the answer" by the second reset bro is dumb as hell.
The only thing that would make sense for me is that he was blinded by revenge but based on iheon's internal monologue that wouldn't even make sense. He wants things to end differently and to be happy with him. So that brings us back to.. why the fuck did you try to rape and imprison him again if that's the case... iheon...
Also side note.. is it just me but is rape, imprisonment and breaking bones an overreaction.. iheon got stood up and beat up one afternoon and he decided to ruin huimin's whole LIFE
it still isn't clear which is reality yet, but huimin did say that iheon was just a character in a book so doesn't have a choice for his actions. but if this is actually reality, since thats the way things are looking, wouldnt that mean iheon really did have free will? If that's the case what the fuck iheon..
Ngl though, we should not blame the character since it’s the author’s fault they are that way coz they are the ones who created them and write them. The things you complained about seems to be writing inconsistencies by the author as well, plot holes even.
But wasn't there a part in one of the chapters after they had sex for the first time that he says to himself that he forgot the reason he came back to the past. So that means his memories didn't come back from the past immediately he regressed?
You know I'm not sure. The way I interpreted it, he was just self reflecting on himself and trying to tell himself to focus on his mission. Because before that chapter there were a few moments where he looks self aware.
But if he really didnt get his memories back immediately after regressing that w o u l d change a lot. I hope they make it clearer eventually
I think so because I swear he also says something like ‘I almost ruined it again’ so I think they regressed and Iheon eventually recovered his memories but not until after he already bought him and tried to SA him again cuz at first he also doesn’t believe the split personality but now he’s all up in research about it
So I think this is maybe their second time around and Huimin has split personality and Iheon has recovered his memories
Im also obsessed with the authors writing because no one (us readers) can figure out the truth for certain of whether or not this is possession, regression, or both or something else like we’re all guessing but everything is so melded into each other that we can’t tell

The end is so touching, my only complaint is myeongshins karma didn't feel all that satisfying to me. But omg.. yoon put that message for yoohan!! He wants to be the reason he livesss I'm crying

The good thing is that he realizes that his life has meaning and he wants to live, even after the death of his family, he wouldn't have gained anything from the revenge anyway -> so I guess the viewers should accept that as well.
Anyway his OG plan was was to seduce Executive Director Yoon and make Myeongshin lose the role of The Memory.. so he actually succeeded his plan.
And there was one point in the story where Yoohan was seen in his flat with his stuff, and he barely had anything, he is not even wearing different clothes lol so I guess Jay only helped him haha

Since yeonwoo got the reassurance he needed are we finally seeing growth? ! Real growth this time!? Now I just wish hyuk and hwibum can remain friends. Considering hyuk decided not to share his crush on hwibum but only changed his mind when he saw yeonwoo crashing out makes me positive hyuk is mature enough to move on from his crush and be friends with hwibum again normally. I mean they were best friends for years. It wouldn't be too far fetched for someone like hyuk to move on. Imo a crush shouldn't mean the death of a friendship, especially a long one.
Yeonwoo resolved his feelings so at this point even if hyuk and hwibum remained friends i dont think yeonwoo wouldn't be paranoid anymore. Lol he probably wouldn't love it, but he got the affirmations he needed and is hopefully secure enough in them. If he remained jealous and paranoid, it would negate this entire chapter where we finally see growth in him. Hyuk probably needs a loooooot of time apart to actually move on but I hope eventually we can see hyuk and hwibum are still friends, even if its only in a side chapter when the series ends. Maybe they could all play board games again and see yeonwoo all gloaty for beating hyuk again lol
Lol a lot of people don't realise chapter 45 and 46 were flashbacks. They aren't having sex in the current storyline, this was in the past before yeonhong became a moneylender. The time they had sex in the flashback was the first time they met since high school. So, no they didn't just have sex right now, that was in the past before everything. The question is did panther recognize yeonhong from high school when he slept with him...
The guy he calls pig was his old boss/debt collector, but currently yeonhong is his own boss and has his own business. Basically panther was a higher up in the business and the guy he owed money to made him sleep with panther for a favor. Yeonhong was furious so he decided he needed to pay back his debt and leave immediately. He asks taein to join him, so he hires him and they go to Seoul together. The flashback ends in the beginning of chapter 47 when yeonhong meets the police officer outside the office
At the current timeline panther almost definitely recognizes has his memory back but tbh i dont remember if yeonhong remembers panther from school, maybe someone can answer that. But basically he only knows panther is probably more powerful than he thought at first. We just aren't clear on what panthers motive is or why he basically sent himself to work under yeonhong. I'm guessing after they "reunited" when the slept together he was able to track him down and wanted to get closer to him

Oh my god... I knew their relationship was kinda weird but I thought it was both sided and NOT TO THAT EXTENT. Tbh I don't even think mom thinks of it sexually, I think she genuinely doesn't see anything wrong with what she's saying but WOULD have sex with him. It shows how messed up she is. It doesn't even look like shes trying to manipulate him, she looks actually confused at his reaction. I feel so bad for this guy, he's been trying to go along with his mom because he knows how unstable she is then she says THAT to him...
Why is everyone mad at chaewoo, he said "theres no way this prick likes mes" cause he's acting like a dickhead. Chaewoo is a regular wholesome person , a normal person wouldnt consider the way Euigeon treats him love so im not surprised chaewom thinks he doesn't like him. He's straight up treating like a cheater for talking to his friend. But somehow everyone is more mad at chaewoo for coming to this conclusion instead of euigeon for leading him to it
And euigeons track record doesn't help by the way
