Right I thought the same. Until they meet again he need the normalcy but afterwards the family literally lives in Seoul and habe jobs there and interact with him. So....maybe until it is aranged he will meet them and bond?
On the cover art there's jiwon with the branch shaped like the red thread leading up to taeoh and then trails to jaesok, who looks to be the one causing the fire.
There's a halo on both jiwon and taeoh's heads, and they're the only ones facing the viewer, jaesok with his back to us.
I wonder if the 'Thread That Never Burned' has anything to do with jaesok and if their rivalry transcended from the previous life..
