I know that Tom really didn't communicate well but he couldn't be blamed for that. He was almost raped. Nobody would have the strength to push somebody off when you're too weak with fear. I know that he had thoughts about Haejoon after he what happened at the park but didn't that made him realize how much he actually loves Jaemin? I think the "break" that they had really helped because sometimes you get too caught up with what's happening around you and your feelings that you forget what really matters and end up being more destructive. It feels like there's no way out and you'll lose the person you love instantaneously. But, Jaemin showed Tom that he won't go anywhere after being able to sort out his thoughts. It's not that Tom cheated because cheating means he wanted that to happen as well. But, we all know that he regretted what happened with Haejoon. He was swept by Haejoon's actions that he wasn't given enough time to think and act accordingly. Jaemin and Tom's relationship was shaky even before Haejoon appeared so Tom can't be blamed for being swayed so easily. All that matters is how they handled the situation because nothing more can be done to undo something if the it is already done and finished, right? So, the way they fix things and strengthen their love for each other is what makes their relationship stronger to overcome obstacles. Although what happened is not part of the ups and downs of a relationship, it could even be considered as a thing that would make or break their relationship. But, we can't deny that they handled it in the best way that they could to salvage their relationship and thankfully, everything worked out in the end. I'm really thankful that Jaemin loves Tom so much that he didn't give up on Tom and loved him the way he needed to be loved. Tom takes care of Jaemin and loves him as much as he does, so please, don't hate Tom.
I just find it unsettling if Haejoon did end up with Junwoo because given the history between him and Tom, it would be really awkward and triggering for Tom to find out that the person who almost raped him ended up with his best friend. I think it would be best if they don't have any form or type of connection with each other.
