Yes you're right. The King was a rape victim by the previous Queen and Blanche is a child of rape. That's why the King avoids Blanche. Also the reason why the King also avoids our FL because before the FL got reincarnated the original owner of the body also made advances and tried to force herself to the King. So I do understand what he's going through. It's already a big step for him to have dinner with both girls and an even bugger one that he actually agreed to dance practice and also danced with Blanche. All the other MF's in the comments knew he had trauma from rape and are acting like total as$holes saying that "he was wrong" and "he shouldn't have been a bitch about it."

I would’ve avoided her too tbh. You can’t just expect a rape victim to act like everything’s okay and interact normally with a child that’s the product of their rape. I understand that it’s wrong for him to neglect her but I also don’t blame him cause I would also avoid her if I was him..

To clarify, by avoiding I don’t mean completely neglecting. I would probably just leave her with someone I really really trust plus look over her and how she’s doing to make sure everything’s okay and if she’s safe but that’s really all.

Yeah, I know what you mean and I know why he's acting this way, it's just the drastic change and the slow pace of the arc is getting to me.

Also, cause I kind of hate manga with scummy Mc's and harem tropes ( cause there's always a useless FL and damsel in distress kind of thing ) it made me kind of forget that he has to act this way so he can live and stuff.

Sorry if It seemed like I just hated him for no reason and stuff, I just can't deal with mc's like that cause of all of the Jackass characters in other mangas, so I wanted to rant about it. (￣∇￣")
