If only his greed, his need for validation, and his constant urge to outdo his mentor didn’t take over, he could have been great in his own way. I get it. Always being compared and hearing people say you’re just someone else’s shadow can really mess with your head. But at some point we have to realize we are more than that. We do not need to prove anything through chaos. We can grow and be strong and create something real without losing ourselves.
because this is a remake? idk the detail, but when I started reading this one, people saying they are glad the story is being picked up again and the remake is nicer.
I disagree, I think the pacing has been great so far, especially as we are entering the final arc, the big bad Phillip. I will admit the last two or three chapters have felt a bit slow but I feel that it was necessary to tie up the current arc nicely
