If you have read up to chapter 24, you will know that they both loved each other when they were teenagers...(In the flashback) Park Juyeon purposely stuck around Kwon Jiwook because he was drawn to Kwon Jiwook's handsome appearance and Kwon Jiwook was fond of him too. The reason why Kwon Jiwook gang raped Park Juyeon was also because of internalized homophobia(this is an unjustifiable excuse but realistic) that he was in love with Park Juyeon too.
Even when they were caught in mires and their relationship rampant into something so toxic, they were both attracted to each other's physics and appearance. It is apparent that Park Juyeon actively couldn't let Kwon Jiwook die and just finished the revenge because he kinda still has feelings for him.
In the end, after the second gang raped, Kwon Jiwook regained his past memories, but on top of that, he was petrified of those who gang-raped him, and he came to believe that living with Park Juyeon is the only way for him to be safe from those rapists. (Well, those gang rapes were the doings of Park Juyeon but whatever I guess)
