theon is not a villain too. indeed he made that decision KNOWING dorothy would be in despair & ethan would be affected and so what ? dorothy & ethan were not good people in their past lives. theon wanted to hit them where it hurts and he did just that. he’s not a demon at all. he just made a decision that he knew would hurt dorothy & ethan. BECAUSE DOROTHY & ETHAN KILLED HIS LOVED ONES. which part of that are you not getting ?

none of these characters are villains. they are just behaving based on the consequences of what happened to them.

Theon is the one who sowed the seeds first. He had no right to take revenge against Ethan when he used Dorothy and her love. He never told Dorothy why he had to marry her. He led her on. Dorothy is a victim in Theon's selfish plan. Sure Dorothy and Ethan weren't good people too but Theon is the worst of them. I'd never agree that he's not a villain. Only blind ppl think he's good.

I'd also say the king is the villain but you have to remember that Ethan was shitty in his first life even without the king. Our main trio are essentially both villains and victims. I personally think this discussion doesn't have a point cause these are all people who have done bad things due to the situations surrounding them. ethan was shitty bc of his brother. he thought dorothy and him are same as they are neglected children but didn't understand why dorothy was so in love with theon till the very end. sorry that I made it sound like ethan was bad bc of the emperor since dorothy is the mc thats why i said emperor the main villain.
