Regardless of what Mirai does she is going to be judged. First they call her fat and ugly, and wanting to change she became skinny through her own hard efforts. Then when she got skinny, she was called ugly, and being as it is impossible to change the face you're born without plastic surgery, she does this and still is criticized for it. I mean people are going judge regardless but damn! Cut the woman some slack.
At this point she just need to say 'fuck it' and just knock the hell out of the next asshole (check) she sees, because at this point the only thing she has to offer is her personality and by thee looks of it she better fine some quick.
Hmm, I kinda get why they wanted to pick from a fruit tree that was already 'owned'. I mean. sometimes you don't want something until you see that someone else has it. I don't understand why that is, but seeing something like the 'fruit' in this case have some sort of value in it make it more desirable I think. Initially, there was no property and everything had basically been open and free to all. However, now adding ownership to it make it become somewhat different from all the other fruits you encountered thus far in life. I find it to be quite an interesting concept, but that doesn't change the fact that the main character is an undeniable hell spawn.
