1) we dont know for sure if haiyan is dead, shins probably doesnt know either but its the most probable route that he died considering where we last saw him

2)shins biggest problem is hes too selfless, hell never let himself admit to his feelings, thats probably why he burnt that book

3) the author has admitted that shin suffers from ocd and ptsd. he overworks himself, to the point where its damaging.

1) I think Haitian is very alive and author are waiting for the time we forget about him or assume he is really dead and BUM they bring him in story...

2 & 3) I think that Shin is selfish in certain things and he definitely sees himself as selfish person...Cuz his very own reasons for doing things in favour of Wolfgang are selfish. I think thats one of the many reasons he tortures himself with work and by restraining himself from his love for Wolfgang - this is my theory.
Cuz if two women could have a happy marriage in this world and not be judged why not two men? Whole castle knows or at least guessing right about Wolfgangs and Shins relationship and nobody made a big fuss about it so I guess in this world there is no big issue with homophobia. So I think Shin just tortures himself by saying it is better for Wolfgang and his throne to marry a woman.

When this was down I read it at manhuascan, it's cut the same as in here but someone put the missing parts in the comments. There are panels missing in ch 72 and 73 and in ch 74 some panels are in the wrong order. But yeah the best option is Lezhin u.u

I really don't want it to go down that trope of 'being molested and then he turns out gay' what I was thinking is that he showed maybe sings that he liked other boy and then his father punished him for that and took him to the doctor and all that stuff we've seen. But with this ch it seems he was probably molested too

Seems like his dad hired a bunch of men or it may be fellow lords to rape him.
So he would be scarred from liking men.
