i love the complexity of these characters. and like some comments are saying, you dont just get over trauma and all that easily. in reality some people would end up hurting others as defense mechanism. it doesnt make it right. but it does happen. and I'd rather read about those characters sometimes
This omg!!!! I love how they're both morally Grey, it just feels more real. It gives both of them dimension and i love the author for that
not even his death can make up for his wrongdoings. a cheater, abuser and a thief? no backstory and redemption is enough. i think he shouldnt be forgiven
yamada is new to relationships but he's trying. and akane is trying to get over her cheating trauma and learning to trust again. i think they're both working on it. and idk the vibe of the chapter doesnt seem that serious
hes not trying at all yes he went to akane to “apologized” since he “kinda” forgot that alex is a girl but mentioning alex again infront of akane after apologizing just a few seconds ago??? UHHHHHHH…….
He is trying even if you don’t want to admit that. Just look at the hundreds of times akane had something going on and he went out of his way to try and understand what happened or why she felt a certain way. He most definitely brought up beating Alex in the competition so he can finally achieve his goal and be done with all the practice stuff.
You keep only considering akane. Akane KNEW exactly that yamada loves gaming and knew what she’d be getting herself into as her bf does gaming AND is handsome. She knew that from the start. She knew his personality and lack of knowledge/interest on girls and dating from before they even started a relationship. She has trust issues from her past relationship, but y’all need to realize that it takes TWO to communicate what they feel comfortable with. She didn’t say WHY she felt uncomfortable yet. She never set that boundary of how close he should be with girls since she thought he mostly is with male friends.
Also note of advice: as a partner sure there should always be some consideration as to what your partner is comfy with. But you should never CATER to their every whim and trust issue or it will drain the relationship and become exhausting having to be on your guard 24/7 cause they don’t trust you. Just SPEAK about it instead of assume your partner should know.
