It's not like the readers are romanticising rape. And personally, I don't think it's romantic nor acceptable at all.
Also, it's not like we are reading stories because there is rape in it. If anything, it just so happen that there is again in this story and the other stories we've read.
Furthermore, it wasn't the rape that we want in a story but the resolution after a bad start, which happens to be rape in this one.
We read and continue to read hoping that, despite the not so good start of the relationship of the characters (whatever start or kind of meeting that may be), there will be a better and brighter conclusion whether it is the characters being together at the end or just them finding their self and their own happiness.
We weren't stuck just on the rape part but were looking and hoping for what's beyond.
Well, comments might look like romanticisng but I'm pretty sure most are just being literally descriptive on a character 's looks during sex or that the artist made a panel or event look really good that it's hot.
We would really appreciate if you do not bash us because of those.

Isn't the uke being too easy and defenseless?... Ugh... I'm starting to not like him a bit...
(Di ba pwede na di ko lang gusto yung character? Huhuhu....)

Exactly. He was abused by his dad, he was groomed by Ji-Sung since he was a teenager (Grooming is when someone builds a relationship, trust and emotional connection with a child or young person so they can manipulate, exploit, and abuse them), he lost his entire career and life passion because of an injury, he got stuck with the debt of the father who abused him, he got forced into working for gangsters, he's been beat up, raped, attacked repeatedly.
Like, he thinks he can trust Minhyuk because Minhyuk has always treated him kindly. How can you blame him for wanting just one person in the world he can trust? He literally has no one else in the world (he still doesn't trust Mafia Daddy which is understandable all things considered). So yeah, he lets his guard down, and it's not his fault that he gets taken advantage of.

I was really taken with Mei's look at the last few pages... It's exuding feminism... On the first pages, there's still this overbearing presence and masculinity but the aura changed at the last pages which really got my attention.... It's like the author was implying the changes that will happen and showing more details for the upcoming plot...
This fulfilling yet agonising chapters... Ugh.... .
