i like it, if your on the fence its not a waste of time to read. like some of those other stories that are just bland. its interesting enough to read. but that's my opinion.

I only started reading this after I saw a manga was made after the novel.
And in the novel, there was a LOT of smut.
But here it's just mature, and the art is kinda getting...worse now...the storyline is also getting boring.
Soooo if you want to read a story that is a bit mature and there are a lot of misunderstandings and anticipation then this is the story for you. :)

I don't want to come off as rude, because I'm not sure what you are talking about, so I'm just gonna say you are talking about the smut.
There is smut on the novel, but there is no smut on the manga, if it was really smut then they would show everything Hugo and Lucia do during sex (the novel gave pretty detailed descriptions so....)
But anyway they don't and the naked parts of them is blurred out, that's what you call mature.
