There are many things that haven't been explained yet, but I could try to answer some questions you have haha, so shoot!

thanks! who the hell is Yama? what does he do? what's the difference between a reaper and a goblin? what's san's relationship with 704? and why can't the ghost monster leave the main character alone like why?

I'M SO SORRY I DIDN'T SEE THIS

*Yama* is the king of hell, he lives in the afterworld and is, well, the boss of the reapers. Although he is NOT THE ONLY king of the afterlife, there are several (never shown, just mentioned) that manage different regions, so far we know Yama is the king of the East and he has contact with northern reapers and goblins. If you get confused as to who he is physically, he's the one with a lot of piercings, black nail polish and two dots below every nail.

*The difference between a Reaper and a Goblin* is that a Reaper has the job to take souls (because if they don't, those souls turn into ghosts) and make reports of the deceased, they manage the death records, while the Goblins are like humans that don't age, don't really need to eat food or sleep and (again, as far as we know to this point) don't really have a job to do. Some can be working with/under a king, like Geumsun is with Yama, to take down ghosts (as we know, ghosts dislike them/fear them), but they haven't shown us a purpose other than live their lives freely.

*San's relationship with 704* hasn't been explained yet, the only thing we know is that 704 feels guilty towards him. We do know 704 helped Geumsun to take care of San for 5 years, which is the time he hid in Geumsun's house.

San said and I quote: "I was in an accident and lost all my memories (...) all I heard from Yama is that the accident was 704's fault, although Geumsun said otherwise... then again it does seem like 704 feels guilty about something he did to me, seems like he's always trying to take care of me (...) and he's not the type to look out for others."

*Hwan (the ghostly monster) was trying to eat Eunjae* to recover from the damage Geumsun inflicted him, if he eats Eunjae then he will be so much powerful than he is rn, and Geumsun has also stated that "if Hwan recovers, not even I would be abel to stop him", hence why they're trying to capture him and he is trying desperately to eat Eunjae.
