Put that aside, this is a lighthearted cute fluffy story to warm your heart. I wish it had more side stories of their lovey dovey days.
It can make sense in a way that he 1. Just wasn't interested in her, straight men don't go for every women around usually, and 2. He's just bisexual and never realized before. Manga always like to forget about Bisexuality for some reason, idk if it's a language thing as in the nuance is there and it gets lost in translation, but I like to pretend they acknowledge it at some point off screen lol. But I do have to admit I chuckle whenever characters say they're "straight" after having the gayest gay sex known to man
Uhm.. it was made clear that the girl became clingy after just being heard out by him. He became uncomfortable with that clinginess and it went worse when she placed the love letter and chocolates inside his desk. She invaded his privacy not once but twice. No matter how pretty the girl is if he is not interested nor attracted with her, ofc he will choose someone who he is comfortable with.

Meh I feel like if girls weren't always trying to kiss me I wouldn't realize I was gay. So I kinda see where the uke could not realize until now. I wasn't necessarily attracted to womens bodies because I am a women myself. I was just use to it adhd does that tho. It wasn't until a friend hit on me that I was like, Woah she's hot. If you don't think about it or the chance to experiment never arises then the realization never hits.
