Ah, yes, another chapter of nothing relevant happening. Exactly what I was wishing for.
Also, don't get me wrong, but there is a political feud going on, the Emperor's position is being threatened, the Empire is in danger, Athy is trying to keep on her shoulders the whole situation while trying not to let her father die and in this mess Jennette is pitying herself (again) because Athy didn't greet/acknowledge her? Big bruh time. I understand she is in a though spot but this is going too far

Some people here have the emotional maturity of a sea cucumber. I bet the ones saying he is a bad parent expect their mothers to pamper their asses even if they are exhausting themselves.
Whether you like him or not as a character that's your choice but never ever try to invalidate someone else's trauma.
Yall realize he is a barely 22 y.o. boy who went through what 99% of us won't experience in a lifetime? Cutting some space for himself when he is in a really bad space of mind doesn't mean he is neglecting his duties as a parent, how can he take care of someone else when he isn't even able to rationalize himself at the moment? He just had a severe trauma discovering that both of his shitty parents abandoned him both emotionally and phisically. If you add all the things he had to face in so little time that is a huge blow. Parents need time of themselves too, they are no superhumans and he didn't left his son alone. He is aware that there are other people taking care of Byul while he is figuring himself out. Have patience and understanding, don't be brats.

Just a long-ass rant from a long-time pained reader. It contains spoilers.
I loved the first season so much, and I've been following this story since December 2017 when it first came out in Korea. So it pains me so much seeing how we still have a bunch of nothing and even less.
It started so perfectly, we had a clear setting, we were introduced to some subplots and from time to time we were given hints of what happened in Lovely Princess. It had the right amount of fluff and drama and even the secondary chacaters had the right amount of screen time.
Then the second season came (it has been more than two years since Claude lost his memories) and from that point to this very day it has just been an endless flood of drama and no real plot whatsoever.
It's been two years of nothing, running around the same two things happening = tea time and
Chatting. The few glimpses of moving forward (like chapter 80 when Lucas came back or when Anastaciois finally decided to do something different from moping around ) were rapidly brushed off just to create more drama and give space to a (to this day still non-existent) development of secondary characters. It's sufficient to think about how much more we know now that we didn't in the first season. Almost nothing.
Don't get me wrong, a story cannot exist without secondary characters and the more depth they have, the more the story will be interesting, but here comes the issue.
From the first half of the second season the story has centered around Jennette, maybe in an attempt to give her some justice since in novel she was a total whack, who knows. And my problems with that are
1) the wasted potential.
2) underdevelopment of the main characters.
1)We have a total blank, naive and cretin character oblivious to everything and far too trusting. The possibilities were endless to develop her, making her a deeper character. Now even after she discovered the whole damn Alpheus household was lying to her she still blindly trusts them and instead of developing her they make her (for the 1000th time) cry and drown in self pity.
This "Poor me, Pitiful me" attitude she has had from the very first chapter is still there, it's chapter 93 and she is still the same as she was 70 chapters ago. What a waste of a good background. She could have been a fantastic character but here we go with the same whining.
2) The MC is MC for a reason. The moment you develop and focus on side characters you have to keep in mind that it necessarily has ripercussion on the Main Character. But as chapters move on with Anastacious, Jennette and whatever without developing them, the MC remains stale. This Athy is not even the Athy of the first season, she was so proactive, intelligent and now to focus on Jennette and her Dad storyline they forgot to develop even the main characters. Lucas who? Claude who?
If the deleopment or whatever they plain to do is THIS slow, you have to give something to the readers. And before someone comes at me saying that slow progressions are not bad,... It is not necessarily bad. But you have to give us something and Spoon said the story will be maximum 120-130 chapters long, which means there are more or less 37 chapters left to do what they had chances to in two whole ass seasons.
How long will this drama take?

Thank you, 100% agree with you. For me all the chapters that focused on the cousin and her bastard uncle as much as I tried they weren't interesting so I would end up skipping them and in all honesty I didn't miss much. Their prolonged drama of the two could've been compiled all in a 2 or 3chap max. Like you said Lucas and Claudes' past is something that the author has been stingy on all we've gotten is crumbs. Things with the main cast basically took a back sit after S1 and now I'm just waiting for things to pick back up for the story to get going.

No dick is worth is ma'am, good job.
Also Wishit what did he expect? She has enough self respect to dump his sorry ass after ten years of being neglected and abused by other nobles without him raising a finger and he has the audacity of being surprised? Nah man, small dick energy everywhere.

Been reading this and beware, Mc is definitely not mentally okay.
He dresses up as his sister and rapes (?) multiple times the Blondie, (who is apparently totally unaware of what is going on and seems genuinely in love with Mc's sister. Dunno, maybe things will change and we will discover he's fucked up, but for now he truly seems pitiful) getting him drunk so he cannot tell the difference between him and his sis.
Mc also is fucked by the black haired guy, who lusts over him and even imagines him while fucking another dude. I suppose there is somewhat a blackmail since he sent Mc women garments.
Maybe I'll edit later once I read more.

Please, no more "gentle character becomes a villain and tries to ruin MC's life out of jealousy". That's so useless and overused, especially because Athy hasn't even wronged her once and even in Lovely Princess never antagonized Jennette despite her having everything she wished for. I would understand Jennette hating on Mr White, Kiel and even Claude, but Athy has been nothing but nice.
How about both her and Athy remember their first life in LP, Jennette feels remorse for not helping Athy and wants to make Mr White and AnASStacious pay for using her all her life, Athy is now aware that she is the real one and cannot see the world she is in the same way. They start plotting together to take revenge on the ones who wronged them.
I'll trust my gut, that girl is no lesbian. I actually met a couple of years ago a girl during an LGBT+ event, who claimed to be a lesbian because she was "only attracted to gay guys", she kept on molesting guys asking weird questions about their sexual preferences and very private things. She made everyone uncomfortable and we all hated her guts.
This bitch reminds me too much of that girl, I bet my ass she is a fetishizer. Disgusting.
I honestly thought that’s what she was. But I think she’s also obsessed with him because she could’ve gotten any of those gay dudes at the club to cling to but she chose Jihyun. It’s really fucking weird
