I know how you feel, I also ship Taichi and Chihaya, but the reality is she already did answer his confession with a "sorry" in a really quiet voice ╥﹏╥
but there is still hope, since she does look for him and misses him, so maybe she will finally stop only looking at arata and start to notice Taichi more(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
because he really does deserve to end up with her╥﹏╥

This is the only manga where I don't ship the main characters with the one the MC girl likes. Because come on! He has done everything he could for her. And even when he tried to forget her, he couldn't. So I really doubt he can be happy with somebody else. I mean, if he could be, I would be overjoyed, since then all three of them can be happy, but I doubt that Taichi can just let Chihaya go. He has loved her too deep for too long
I think the "sorry" part is about not "sorry for not noticing it"..cause she is always asking herself why taichi always do something alone..so..ther's still a chance for them..she gave up the karuta that she loves for quite some time after Taichi leaves the team..
