I loved reading this and was excited for every update, so I ended up reading the novel ... the way they completely butchered the last arch!! The whole climax of the story!! Like how do you mess up the most important part?!
Ruby's altercation with her bro had almost no impact. Novel Ruby was barely standing with shards sticking out of her and blood runing down her face. No matter what anyone says, IT WAS IMPORTANT TO MAKE IT GRAPHIC!!! And now she doesn't even stop the dragon? Why did she go then? Like why did they do it like this?? Why take her there when all she does it cry for Izek? Novel Ruby stood up to the manipulated dragon and stopped it! SHE DID THAT, BARELY CONSCIOUS AFTER BEING BEATHEN UP AND EXHAUSTED!! Why did they make her so useless here?! This makes me so damn sad!!
It's refreshing to read a "historical" story, where they adress how different cultures/countries treat homosexuality. I also really enjoy that they're having a conversation about it.

What is disappointing about this is that the manhwa has adapted some very heavy and tense scenes perfectly! Like the stable breakdown, Ruby denying Izek while out in the woods or sis confronting Ruby about her ED.
That's why we were all expecting them to adapt this very important, emotional, tense scene well ... Idk why they're rushing this so much!! This was such an important scene, but fron the last ep, they have completely fumbled it. Showing Caesar's side??? Trying to justify his behavior?? Just one little shove at Ruby and one little streak of blood down her face?? My girl in the novel was beat up!! Shards of glass sticking out of her! Blood everywhere! Barely conscious! That's why they all freaked out, that's why it was impactful! Caesar almost Killed her!! And she still stood up to stop Izek! Just a huge disappointment. It could have been so great

The tension in the novel was so high! Ruby was bead up 10x more and actually on a verge of collapse and their aura fight was so serious! This ended too quickly
