You're losing out a lot. It's probably because of the high quality translation that makes you unable to deal with it. I don't know how to put it but it's a story that requires a bit of an above average intelligence. Kinda like a story for intellectuals. But if someone's attention span is that of a gold fish, I fear it isn't for them
Oh I asure you I'm more than capable of reading and comprehending it. But it definitely doesn't require avove average intelligence to do so. Regular interpretation hability is enough. This is most certainly not a "story for intellectuals". It's posh and overused formal speech doesn't make it harder to read or interpret, only boring. Having one or two characters with this specific speeching pattern would make it funny, those being the damon kind would make it interesting, everyone makes it boring and overcomplicated.
On the other hand, while a goldfish's attention span is a popularized saying it is in fact a myth and even if used figuratively it still wouldn't make a difference in regards of my complaint. There is a difference between the inability to read this and the lack of motivation to do so.
Again, while it is more accurate and in line with the characters positions and backgrounds choosing such a formal way of speaking for so many characters makes it feel to rigid and less inviting to read. If I wished to read something pompous and over polished I'd go look for such literature in actual books. But webcomics would not be where I'd wish to read it, a sentiment you might not share but I guarantee other readers do.

Just reading, but say, all we had this chapter was two characters talking in rich people talk and the protagonist adding absolutely nothing to the talk other than repeating what others said in question format and have that same signature nonchalant face with a single additional droplet of sweat that's been there for at least 2 chapters now. I enjoy this story greatly and do like where it's going, but goddamn it it's not a "just read it" scenario, I am reading it. And I'm not enjoying it.
See... that's what I'm talking about... it feels dull and repetitive... I still like the story... but theres to much posh talk and little action... and it makes it feel... like when I'm reading an essay where the person convoluted the writing to make the number of words/letters...
I'm very glad to not be the only one. There's so many of the same genre that I know what I'm getting into, but when I see the premise of "OP mc with natural talent and a nonchalant attitude" I was sold on that... It's kinda like the manhwa was going at full speed and then just... Hit the brakes with all it's might and everything derailed! lol It's not like that'll make me drop it, but it does feel kinda shitty...

Also, it is fast paced... so I wonder what will happen after they get closer as father and daughter... and also wish this will have 100ch at most... kinda tired of long stories with 1ch per week that takes years to end...
Not only is weird for her to be mistreated about it instead of heralded in her family but... previous killer as mc is such a cliché...
And mainly... It feels like mc was kicked in the head by a donkey. Like girl... did you loose your emotions or your intellect? No. Seriously. The reason people are afraid of psycopaths is because they lack emotions... but they don't lack intelligence... on the contrary right? That why most of them you see on media are more intelligent than most... and not feeling it doesn't mean they can't identify others emotions... but mc? She looks like a newborn calf... like... she has no memories or knowledge and nothing at all... calling her bland is an understatement... and I specially dislike hot she didn't even trust her brother with the truth... and how she's treated like a soulless fragile doll... Frick... there was so much potential for a strong female character and it was just trashed.

It could be good but... mc looks is... ok? Very standard... his power is interesting. Such a drawback makes it interesting to know how he's going to overcome it.
However... it just overuse fanservice... it's really to a disturbing point... every woman have a hot body and shows too much cleavage.. while wearing super tight and short clothes...
I'm used to manhua using women as sexy props but too much is too much...
There are way too many manhua with interesting premises that are ruined by incompetent execution and ridiculously over-sexualized female characters.
The plot is not bad... but the art is... underwhelming?
Usually you can tell clearly where the comic is from just from the art style and overall plot... no matter the genre and setting there's a big difference between manga, manhwa and manhua... but lately there's been a couple comics that are trying to blur between manga and manwha... and on my view it's failing badly.
This one... the faces... the clothing and the girls poses... they scream manga... especially the eyes...they are too big and are giving me the jeebies... the way this seems to be going harem route and the original's plot... it looks like a colored manga... even how the lineart is kinda sketchy instead of more clean and vetorial? Makes is more mangaish... then it's colored... and the kr sfx... it gives mixed feelings...
But most of all... the eyeeees... there's something weird about them... yeah... I'll try to keep reading cuz the plot is coll... but the art is a hard pass...
A lot actually... but can someone who reads the novel explain the background to me? Light faction? Dark faction? Demons? Like... who destroyed the world and why? That part is a bit confusing tbh...
Hm so from I have understood, the two biggest forces are the Union, and the Magic Empire. You can see it as orthodox and unorthodox factions in Murim, here it’s light and dark (I’m still not sure there is only dark in the magic empire and vice versa but they’re the only ones I’ve encountered til now). They are also overseen by the extreme divine sphere (Constellations and Demons), which sometimes will junk stuff imbued with their power to the mortal world for entertainment (sacred or demonic relics), or assign « blessings ». For these light and dark factions, there are countless divided power properties, most of which are represented by a family/clan which has perfected and represent it. Often they can be different sides of the same coins, ex : poison clan/medecine sage family, and goes the same sometimes for power, ex taming through fear (dark) and through loyalty (light). As for who brought on the ruins it was the Blood killing demon or whatever blood demon. As for why don’t remember but anyway they had contracted a demon.
The plot is not bad... and for now I'm quite liking it... even with the spoilers.
On another note... from time to time I read some comics and get this incredible feeling of dejavu... like I've read this before but with a different art? Like I'm reading a remake? But I can't find the original anywhere. I felt the same with Fathe I don't want this marriage... and I still remember that one because it was full of chibies... but I also like the current art of that one...
This one... I don't remember the art... but it made a strong impression because of the administrator... Live-streaming villainess is alrwady unique... but the combo administrator + colored hair + red suit is hard to mistake... and I confirmed it with the spoilers about him that are the same...
This situation makes me go nuts... but well I'll read it anyway...

So... I got spoiled... and I'm thankful tbh... because thanks to that I won't take this read as seriously as I would if there was no harem on it.
Let's be clear... it's still harem even if he doesn't end with any of them. Why? Because all those women occupy a lot of the story. Much of it becomes they pov, their feeling and their problems that mc gets dragged on to. He already almost died because that guy was too into his fiancee... and I don't think this kind of thing will stop happening. My biggest hate towards harem is hot those women become plot devices to make the story move... and again... so much pov... and I'm honestly not interested. The story already has a clear plot and direction and their presence just overcomplicates things. It feels so unnecessary... and it's also a bother how he's surrounded by women all the time... no male friends besides those hostile towards him is a bit... weird tbh... it fells off when an mc have no one of the same gender around them...

Ummmm have you guys forgotten that was basically how it was originally set up like that in the game, for MC's character possession (Deculein) is a very hated villain in the game itself, out of every route Deculein dies except 1 route. Also it's basically a dating sim game where the women are the main characters & it's their POV.
MC is basically navigating through that.
Even if the original was theres no reason for the comic to be too. The point is not him being hated. Is that basically everyone that gets involved with him is female. When everyone that matters to the story and is around mc is their opposit gender it's weird. And same goes for female mc's. No matter if harem or reverse-harem or if there's no romance in it. And that is the point I made.
Same with their POV. If it was to give meaningful information to us readers that mc doesn't know or to explain plot points or how others view mc id be ok with it... many comics show POV of others... but in this one those focuses soooo much on how they feel about mc and their angst and are just annoying and don't add much to it beside of romantic purposes.
The story had everything already... adding all that to it just makes it supérfluos.. even more when we know they aren't even possible end game... like frick... they are his teenager students ffs... I get girls getting a crush on hot teachers... I'm not gonna act like it doesn't happen... but it's definitely not something I want to read about. I get the former fiancee and even the mercenary queen or something... but adding students to the mix? Not only I'm over all their teen angst in their POVs, it's really not appropriate to have them shown as love interests in a harem comic... even if mc is not interested in them. Why? Because it shows a underlying message of an adult men (readers projecting on mc) accepting the romantic attention of teenage girls as something ok (them being love interests). It's the same reason it's bad to see toxic relationships and even sh and sa being romancized in comics... it passes a bad message...
But that's just my take on it
I really hope we get a rofan one, a cold ceo one, maybe an idol one and definitively one of those guy went back in time and started an harem one... maybe one of those modern dungeon one would be nice too...
I want to wee our queen wrecking havoc in all kinds of settings...
