I don't think One is a good dominant because he loses control easily and he lets out his anger on Shell. He hurts him not because it's what Shell wants, but because it is a convenient way for him to vent out his anger. That's not what s&m relationships are about at all. He doesn't have any limits, they don't even have a safe word, but i'm not sure One would respect Shell's limits anyway, and would end up hurting him when he is angry.
I like the bdsm aspect of this manga, but after realizing that the only reason One is doing this is because he is angry and is using Shell to vent out his hate towards vampires, i'm only seeing abuse. It's true that Shell asked for it, but there is a difference between hurting someone because it gives them pleasure and hurting someone to vent out your anger. Same goes for Shell, he wants someone to dominate him, that doesn't mean he wants someone to take their frustrations out on him.
That's really not s&m, it just comes down to abuse.
Since the main focus is bdsm, i think hopefully it will be portrayed properly at some point.

While I agree 100% that this is not a healthy relationship, One does't view it as a relationship. This is an activity that endangers his life. He is 1/2 a step away from being a POW. Where vampire pheromones help keep the human populous placid, they don't effect him. So when you give a prisoner with a hella lot of repressed rage free reign to get some of there own back it isn't going to be pretty. One from the beginning has asked to be left alone.

I don't think Zhan Zhengxi is oblivious at all. The thing everyone is forgetting is that it's only been a couple of days since Jian Yi kissed him. He saw his best friend broken down, crying and begging him to forget, so the right thing at the time was to give Jian Yi some space and also take time to think things over. Another thing everyone is forgetting is that they are only 15. They are both confused, Jian Yi because he likes someone of he same sex, and Zhan Zhengxi who has probably never given any thought to how he feels about this, but is now in a situation where his best friend is in love with him. He has a lot to think about, and taking a week to sort out his feelings instead of pushing the matter right away doesn't make him oblivious.
Also, asking someone if they are in love with you, is not always for your own sake. Zhan Zhengxi is not oblivious at all, he knows how Jian Yi feels about him, yet he still asks Jian Yi if he is in love with him. Not because he needs confirmation, he doesn't even necessarily need to like him back at the moment, he asks because Jian Yi needs to admit it for his own sake. Nothing good will come out if Jian Yi keeps bottling everything up, hiding his feelings and pretending nothing happened, it could also ruin their friendship. Zhan Zhengxi did good asking, because knowing how much Jian Yi cherishes their friendship, it's not likely he would confess on his own and risk losing his best friend. Zhan Zhengxi is also not ready to lose his best friend (which i think he realized after the Jian Yi was kidnapped) which is why he asked, instead of letting Jian Yi bear everything himself, potentially ruining their friendship as well.
