Her father seriously favors Vienna to the point where he wishes Kaira was Vienna. He sees Laura as part of her mother’s family, while Vienna is his family. I am unsure about what Vienna told him, but based on what’s translated I assume it’s again, something about Kaira not allowing Vienna to have the family name. Or perhaps trying to “embarrass her” by not writing her letter for her.

The FL doesn't speak in 3rd person like Trashta does.
