The amount of hate and shaming they give to Homin is unreal. I don’t even think the mc would be upset he had a one night stand bc Homin came back to him and told About what he was dealing with and chose him. Also, they weren’t dating yet so it was perfectly fine that Homin slept with someone else. I think what’s important is that Homin had good people around him that told him to confront his issues head on (like his hookup did) and that the mc addressed Homin’s fears and reassured him in a positive and healthy way.
I think it’s far more important to look at the communication and the support of a character with big abandonment and anxiety issues than it is to shame and blame them for acting out on those issues.
And honestly, it’s sad they do hate on him for it. It makes me wonder what they’d do if their friends were in the same position.
