What I understand with "I love you like a low tide in twilight," was it's like deep? I think he love taeju deeply?

I cant give you a proper answer but I'm guessing it's supposed to symbolize that love can come rushing like a high tide. But love can also be distanced and empty, like during a low tide. Idk just my random interpretation. The "in twilight" part doesn't make a lot of sense tho, since tides are always rotating. Thus it wouldn't matter whether it'd be in twilight or bright day light yk

I'm having a hard time with this line too. The only thing i can think of is... They started with him almost drowning in deep chaotic waters, but now they fell in love/confessed when there was a low tide with all its serenity. Their relationship was like moon's pushing and pulling the sea. They were both traumatized by the sea. But now they found peaceful waters and made new beginning at the same place they started, but at low tide

I was a little lost too, the similes before were enough, I’m guessing it’s just an extension of the same meaning, that you wouldn’t be able to tell the tide apart from the sky at night.

Imo, it could also be:
How vast the sea seems in twilight, could compare to their love, or each individual’s love for each other. There is still some light in the sky at this point. So their love could seem, vast like the sea, or the way he sees his life could be equal to how the level of tide, which is low, as he said he didn’t see much meaning to his life until he saw how his lover looked at him, basically he shone in his lovers eyes, comparable to how bright the sky is…twilight, despite how dark it is too, again reflects their relationship, as it was quite messy from the start, so it wouldn’t make sense for the sky to be bright and blue, their love isn’t that pure…but he accepts that their relationship grew from a questionable point, and it somehow shines, which is due to his lover, in his eyes, or him to his lover (I can’t remember their names), the light is reflected on the sea, the same way their love for each other is reflected in their willingness to live or see meaning their lives.

Or, the serenity of the sea when tides levels are at its lowest, (I thought their love was quite messy), ig at that point deep gown he feels solace? A sense of happiness too? And peace? Anyway that’s just me rambling, I couldn’t quite understand that sentence, didn’t think much of it until I saw this comment…please don’t harass me. Lol I’m tired, and afraid for my life atp.

Could be a difference in translation too. But then again, I’m not the author, so I have no idea whatsoever what was meant originally m.
