If anyone is thinking of reading this story, PLEASE DO. This manhwa is absolute perfection. I have an exam tomorrow and instead of studying I spent the whole day reading this in one sitting. From the writing, to the art, the characters, it’s all just so amazing. I haven’t felt so engrossed and happy reading an OI in a long time but this did it for me. It’s become one of my favorites. My only regret is that I read it too fast and should have waited until the new season is out. I won’t even be mad if I fail my exam because of this.
I bet the whole “waiting 7 years” isn’t him pinning after her when she was a child but rather him having gone back through time. He already lived through the 3 years of war and when he went back to see her she must have already been executed. Most likely took a year for him to find a way to go back through time and then having to go through the war for another 3 years. So in total he’s been waiting for her for 7 years, not 3. Explains so much why “he’s changed” and does things before they happen like foreshadowing her execution.

She does something nice she’s ridiculed, she ‘acts’ mean she’s ridiculed, she stands up for herself she’s ridiculed, she doesn’t stand up for herself she’s ridiculed, if she apologies she’s ridiculed, if she doesn’t apologise she’s ridiculed, if she BREATHES she’s ridiculed. She can’t even exist without someone blaming her both in the story and out.
