Finally an MC that an author created that doesn't strive to be an ideal MC. What I dislike about most manhwas, books in general, that I've read so far is that the authors make them as perfect as possible to please the readers and end up making them forgettable and bland.
In this case, the MC is selfish, a bad mother, and utterly human. It's interesting how when you see her character first, you'll tend to hate her but as you get to know about her, the more you'll understand the depth of her character. Even though you'll get to understand her perspective, that still doesn't excuse her neglect towards her son. You also get to understand the Duke's perspective of why he wasn't being an ideal partner to her. His character isn't shallow at all. It amazes me how there's no side you can choose. As a reader, you get to only do what you are doing and just continue to read about their interesting lives.
This is just my opinion about this story. Thank you for coming to my tedtalk ahahahahaha
Reki? Langa? What happened?
