The main story is completed. The side stories will release in March with 16 chapters. Technically people are not wrong that it's completed since it's a short story but due to popularity is able to comeback with a side story.

I was told in the novel that Garon dies from the mc’s poison, and he ends up with Raonhilgo, however you spell his name, and they live happily ever after. Him ending up with Garon is insane

Who told you that lie? The emperor was poison but mc love him for some reason and saved him with his horn. His horn is the antidote to the poison. The nice brother n main character tried to be together but mc have no feelings for him n he realize that . So when the emperor came looking for him , he went back to the palace with the emperor. People need to finish the novel before writing the spoiler
It does kind of go that route you're lead to believe. The Emperor seems to die, mc breaks his horn to give to gaton to stop him dying, escapes with raonhiljo and they live together for a while. then they pull it from under you and roha (mc) goes back to garon. Basically we think he is dead but he's not and when mc finds out he wants to go back to him and we get them coming together for the last few chapters as garon tries to be better
