Yeppp. He does . He basically scream at ML to beg for his mother forgiveness, like get on his knee. But he still fell in love. This is why the end is bittersweet. Cause they can’t fully be happy together, he still sleep walk and he have guilts eating him alive every night.

I was speeding through it so I might miss some stuff . If you’re rooting for the brother , you should just drop this manwha cause the mc don’t love him . And the nice brother is actually nice and have been in love with mc since he was 15… I thought it was strange but I don’t remember how old the brother was . The emperor did in fact got poison but he knew all a long yet he still keep sleeping with mc. The imae’s chief told mc that there is an antidote but mc said he didn’t need it. The chief imae’s son tried to grape mc and was dismember by the emperor while his father watch. That night , mc gave the chief the sketch of the emperor gun, but the emperor knew all a long and was 10 step ahead of him . They capture all the imae and the chief to k*ll them all. The chief thought that mc had betray him and didn’t want to give him the antidote when he ask. (But he did tell him later on what the antidote was and confessed that he was in love with mc mother and didn’t tell her the antidote when she ask back then.) When the emperor was out doing duty one day , his concubine or whatever … went to mc room and try to hurt him. She tried to cut off his horn , she was crazyyyy. But before anything else happen, the emperor appear. He k*ll her . (I was satisfied) the nice brother did took mc away and they went into hiding . The emperor went crazy and chase them down. He slaughter so many people just to find mc. He have big bounty on them too. He also k*ll the nice brother mom :( . He went mad looking for mc . He did in fact capture mc again. I feel like mc fell in love but it’s like Stockholm syndrome cause how do you love someone that k^ll your mother . Anyway mc is tormented by dream and the fact that he fell in love with the emperor. Turn out the emperor is still alive and mc knew from the gossip of the town people . The emperor was indeed looking for him once again. But this time, he is not going around unaliving people. He want to see mc mother grave to ask for forgiveness. Mc did went back with the emperor and tried to change the emperor . So guys, the emperor did change in the end.

I'm satisfied with that. Disappointed sml isn't a slimy snake cause the way he's drawn still gives me that feeling and I'll probably never feel any other way about him but oh well.
