Yes! Actually I believe it happened in episode 40-48 if I’m not wrong but short summary, his mom was abused by the dad and then the mom kills herself resulting in the dad claiming he’s going to change but then he abuses Wonguk’s sister (forgot her name) and then Wonguk gets upset and ends up killing him which sentences to prison, the story is quite sad honestly I would recommend reading it :)
i forgot which chapter but yeah it did cover why he was sent to prison. he beat up his dad? or maybe stepdad? i forget but he was protecting his sister who was an assault victim

He didn't killed him but he pratically did. You don't go for prison for only 6 years after killing someone. It was judged as an attempt of murder.
Oh I thought he did kill him, why would his little sister be left alone if his dad wasn’t dead then? Or did he have the abuse charges pressed on him ?
Well I assume that since he wasn't much of a father to them and after being pratically murderered by one of them he ran away. Or maybe yeah he got charges. But well Wanguk kinda cut his wrists so I'm not really sure. They never explained what the father became.
