just a short (?) personal rant about my feelings of this manga.
bro, i wouldn't have minded the fast paced plot since i'm kinda used to it from reading short mangas already but the plot of this... i have no words.
the premise is ok, it has a lot of potential esp the word building and race discrimination. but what can i say... a perfectly missed opportunity...
instead of focusing on special races and whatnot, the author chose to focus more on sexual assault and misunderstanding AND also handled is horribly holy fuck.
the way the merman just goes around and manipulate the people around vampire's life is disturbing as hell. especially since the author handled it as some sort of comedic relief when it's a fucking horrible thing to do.
also the blatant noncon and power imbalance/ abuse. he just straight up orders the vampire to not move and then rapes/harasses him? bro wtf and the way it didn't even bother the vampire afterwards like gurl u just got sexually assaulted why are you out here worrying about the wrong things
a waste of art style and character design honestly cuz the art is delicious but the plot is just not it. it even made me skim through the last half of the chapters cuz i really just felt so icky bro.
and before anyone takes this the wrong way () , i do not give a single fuck whether you guys like/love/hate this manga or whether you'll read this or not. if u liked it, good for you, if u hated it, then that's your opinion. you have the freedom to do whatever you want, same as how i have the freedom to post this opinion of my because fuck it this is a public comment section lmao.
