I get why some people like him; I also get why some people hate him. To be fair he is probably one of the most realistic characters in here, like you can actually find friends like him in reality, I've seen a few old friends of mine have friends like him, and you can never tell if they are in the right or wrong. Now knowing both sides as readers you will feel Jin is possibly too nosey on whomever tries to talk with Jace, but if you're on an area where you don't know what is causing them to be like that, you'd be fine with it, and quite possibly annoyed afterwards when you find out the full story. Again, "possibly", as it's hard to tell if they're in the right or wrong.
Now on this story, I'll be honest, the meddling, feels unnecessary, like it's just a means to drag the plot out, and I feel for the people who said it is dragging too long. So, I'm shelving this book for now. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I'm kinda scared for both the seme and the uke. Seme has been through a lot, literally a lot, pissed that he lashed out, yet I understood, especially when he has no outlet and is pressured. Uke, has his issues, as seme said "Spoiled rich brat" so I'm guessing his "Need for love" thingy is probably due to his parents absence on his growth or something within those borders, so he fudges around (not new to the yaoi universe).
The yakuza tho, uke likes him coz yakuza likes uke (I don't think it's romantic, more like ownership/possesiveness), and other things, but yakuza is quite terrifying, and I don't think he'll think twice about killing anyone getting their hands on the uke. So if it's going that route...

Yeah the Mafia dude is terrifying cuz he literally beat the shit outta the fella who forced himself on Kangjin (the uke) and I don't think he will also think twice to kill or destroy Jungkwon if he got back together with Kangjin

These are just speculations as I can't read Chinese. Uhh, after some time, there will be affirmation, seme and uke will be official (as it appears), but blue haired dude will be your typical villainous bitch that will get uke into situations a lot of people will be triggered in. There will also be an additional character that'll appear, tho with few screen time.

Long story short, and to start with, the company where the MC and ML works does not allow dating between co-workers, and the 3rd person who the ML was supposedly cheating with knows this, was interested in the ML, and blackmailed ML to date him or else he'd tell and ruin MC and ML's career and out them in the process, now them dating had no indications that ML did the deed with the snake, more of just dinner dates and sweet talking. The ring was supposed to be for the MC when the ML was trying to clear things up and propose once things calmed down and cleared out but was stolen by the snake thus causing mishaps to happen while they're also mid-fighting every now and then coz of stress from work. Fast forward to the reset of 5 years to the past, things flow differently at this point cause MC handles stuff differently now compared to how he handled managing his people before (example: why they went to a company trip now due to great news and why they didn't before). And things progress, MC falls in love again with ML and vice versa, this time better than before, but with still miscommunications (seems to be the drive of this story), snake pops in again, tries to sabotage the relationship like how he did in the previous life, but this time it doesn't work, ending with the MC and ML living happily ever after.
