wait i js went and reread chapter 3 and idk how i never caught onto this. in chapter three he says “what if that rock suddenly comes and falls onto the town? that’s why i stay up here to make sure it sits tight and doesn’t fall down.” Isn’t this exactly what sisyphus’s story and punishment was? is this a sign that it will roll down soon and cause all sorts of chaos?
