*sigh* I really wish they could have talked things over. Sure, when trust issues appear, it's hard to recover. So I'm not saying "forgive and forget", but one of those two should have happened so that he could truly move on... Sadly, it wasn't the case. Every time something happens he reminds himself "I won't be like him". That's basically having him more present than anybody else.

If you read Challengers and even the first volumes of Koisuru Boukun, you can tell how she's evolved along the years. Plus, she's a sweetheart, and this couple of hers is always evolving amazingly.
Once those words have been said, what comes next? They'll always be hanging there between them.
Or even better, when they get significant others that care for them and their happiness.
