Boy, I keep thinking "that's okay, he's not as bad as Zhenya, he's still salvageable, he's learning how to lo---" just to get disappointed every single time. Like I get it: Leewon had meaningful relationships, Caesar had holes. It's the first time homeboy actually feels anything. But he deserves a kick in the nuts.
Those feelings JK has that he can't sort out? It's not love. It's loss. He has no freaking clue how to process loss. He lost his counterjinx, he lost his position, he lost his prestige, he lost his way from his usually healthy lifestyle. He's already been through denial and anger, he's going through bargaining, and I'm so so glad Dan is standing his ground. It'll be interesting to see the source of his trauma and why he thinks he's got a jinx, because that's the only way he can process whatever he's going through and come out as some kind of decent human being.
