I don't think so, maybe they forgot. In another manhwa that I read the main couple wore the wedding rings after their marriage.

It depends a lot on who wants to wear a ring. As far as I know there are two types of marriage, the most traditional and the most Westernized, use alliance is something more western, in some sleeves and manhwas some couples use, in others not. It's kind of a cultural thing and a choose too.
