I think people have been thrown off a bit by how dense this is but i genuinely believe this is one of the most well written of this genre. It has actual depth to it and the art style is amazing. It does get a little confusing at times but then once i keep reading it starts to make sense, love it so much.
Also she’s not seeing any ghosts right now as they are mainly concentrated at the palace, it is not a forgotten plot point, it is why they are not holding her sisters debutante there.

Yeah but bad memories dont make you stupid and unintelligible. The point in time he lost his memories to he was upset but cold and considering his escape. He was calculative, and even though he was weak physically he was never of weak character and a wimp. The use of the misunderstanding trope has been used ro create completely incoherent conversations.

Usually its a bit hard for me to read about female mc’s who are a bit fragile or traumatised (only because it’s an overused trope usually used to make a male lead save the day) but this is amazingly well done and the character’s have so much building giving them depth, actually heart wrenching.
Literally why did the author do this? To ruin the story for good?

Its like nobody understood why its called ‘Never Understand’ the point of this is not to show ideal relationships but the hardships that people go through and the nuances in character. A lot of the characters can’t be called good or bad, they’re in the middle or both depending on context. If you’re looking for something light hearted of course this isn’t going to be for you but say that instead of shitting on the story. It’s well-written in the sense that it does what its meant to - which is to make you feel all sorts of emotions, serve as an outlet for the negative ones and show that morals aren’t always black and white. I keep coming back and re-reading this and have done for like 5 years and I have come to understand it more the older I get, its sad to see so many missing out or making others miss out on it, which is the only reason I’m writing this. It’s not a typical romance/bl in the way it’s written, characters are complex and each play they’re own role. This is one of the most beautiful webtoons of this genre I have ever read but I can understand it’s not for everyone. I could write a whole essay on this I just felt the need to switch up the negative comments
