They’ve never been taught to communicate and that’s where they’re relationship falls short, doyeon is not a good person and neither is jinjoo the whole point of this whole story is that both of them are morally grey bc of their trauma which causes them to hurt eachother the whole point of the manwha is to showcase this trauma and how they’re relationship evolves and how they heal throughout, jinjoo shldve told doyeon her circumstances and doyeon shouldn’t have overreacted and keep it all in, it all boils down to communication. There is no enemy.
