This seems to be a misunderstanding I see everywhere from non-novel readers. But there is more to Wooyeon’s mother hiring Dohyun to look after him. Overall, manhwa readers, I promise Dohyun is a good guy. I don’t really want to say why because it’s MORE spoilers so stop reading here if you don’t want to know. And novel readers have already cleared this up before but obviously not everyone got the message. It’s actually a misunderstanding (intended by the author) that Dohyun is looking after Wooyeon under his mother’s orders. It was true that his job was to spy on Wooyeon during their tutoring days, but right now he’s caring for Wooyeon out of his own free will. I think it’s so much better to read it yourself, but all I can say is that we will see more sides of Dohyun and his character development will be satisfying af. It will all be worth it in the end I promise <3

He doesn’t deserve to suffer because he knows what he did in the past was wrong but had reasons why he did it and why he kept it a secret.
