There's a lot of subtext bc gege showed them to be partners that were part of a whole, he included a lot of hidden texts that show that only they knew each other so well feelings and all, when geto did everything that he did in a way Gojo didn't stop him bc despite the little time they held they were so important to each other even during their sep......
i'm just as torn as you, esp bc as someone on the aromantic spectrum i realise that deep, intimate yet completely platonic relationships/friendships exist but at the same time my shipper self goes gaga over them. so in the end, i just ball and have fun, as is, black and white hair ships are canon (source is trust me bro)
I LOVED this manhwa at the start. The relationships were complex, the themes were interesting, and the plot was compelling. I was genuinely so invested in seeing where it was going to go and I loved following along with the mysteries it was setting up. But by the end it completely flips on its own themes and the main character gains absolutely not......
Honestly, I was reading it because I felt familiar with Dan. Like, I'm not a nurse or anything, but I was at one point working and taking care of my dying grandma. I would have probably done the same for the money if it meant I spent more time with my grandma, maybe even hired people to give her better final moments. It's rough, and you get despera......
its a short one(60ch), idk if they have side stories but for now they live happily ever after. the prologue ch1 is when yoomin discovered that taejoon is from tiger clan and, hes aleady pregnant at that time(only beom knows, yoomin doesnt know)one thing i love is when yoomin about to give birth, taejoon searched for a mantra from the tiger clan that can take away all the birth pain so that yoomin can give birth without pain(c section) so the birth pain beared by taejoon. yoomin ofc doesnt know about this at all
they had twins with one wildcat + one tiger named taemin(tae from taejoon name) and yoojoon(yoo from yoomin name)
ririko was sleeping with the yakuza guy and touma a lot before she met sentarou. despite that, she was in love with the yakuza guy and got heartbroken when he left for dubai. so when she realized that sentarou was also in love with someone and got his heart broken (even though he never confessed in the first place), she decided to go out with him because he was more innocent and cared about her. from the beginning, when she got pregnant, she wanted sentarou to be the father even if he wasnt because she knew he would actually care about megaru.i think involving touma into the equation was ririko's way of giving sentarou his happy ending, because she eventually realized that that touma was the one that sentarou was in love with. so even though she could have just said it was sentarous child (because he would've agreed to raising megaru regardless of if touma was there or not), she said it was either sentarou or touma's child to get them to spend time together, almost like shes apologizing for being a bad girlfriend and leaving him with a kid who obviously isnt his.
the yakuza guy is megaru's bio dad and also, ririko was probably not actually lying when she said megaru's dad was in dubai or something, because she knew the yakuza guy was the dad.
+ sentarou was never actually in love with ririko. he always liked touma more, but chose to go out with ririko because he knew he wouldn't have a chance with touma. the reason why he cares about her so much is because hes a naturally kind and selfless person unlike touma, so really had more of an affection/friendshio towards ririko than romantic feelings.
Felix’s parents were found in their car. But Seven’s first victims were shot point blank and pushed into the sea and he watched them sink. He also never saw their faces. I feel like this plan has been a long time in the making, and these two are just unfortunate victims of the crossed wires.Maybe they were never supposed to have been partners at all.
This special episode was so fun and I was laughing at the ages and order of the brothers but then it started clicking.What if this is the actual order or the Mugos in the main story, we just call Elder Mugo "Elder" because of his vibe and mental age, but in cases where there are multiple personalities in one body, the newest and most recent personality could be the oldest theoretically (they manifested a child personality first then an old person personality as the newest) so what if monster Mugo is actually the oldest personality, born out of the basest and most primal instinct of "Hunger" when, going by the bits and pieces of info we're given, he was stuck in a jar with other snakes/beings that he had to fight and consume to survive.
What if the reason we think 'Elder' Mugo is the elder because he seems to know more than jerk Mugo and monster Mugo, but maybe it's just that 'Elder' Mugo is a Mugo that the family curated to be able to bargain and ask for favours from, since he's the most reasonable. He might be the most recent of them, but he knows more because the family constantly brings him forth using sweets and incense and he has to witness all their sacrifices and filth and wishes, so he knows more about the current world and era than the other Mugos. That's why he's more in touch with modernity than the other 2.
Food for the brain.
The fact that most of the reader blame woowon for everything really baffles me. Did we not read the same story? It is very clear that woowon has traumatic life, from his family to his current situation. He already has a very low self-esteem, and then his boyfriend's "family" keeps on harassing him. He already told seoan that if he didn't contribute anything to the relationship then what use of him... Not to mention he keeps on blaming himself on his bastard father's death, that he kills him. He's still trying to heal from trauma, and people around him keeps on pestering him.If you read past this, spoiler's ahead;
We know that after this woowon will leave to find peace and try to sort his feelings. And I also know that everyone will again blame woowon for leaving, saying that he's a coward, that he's useless and selfish. But I understand him. Only people who used to be in his shoes can understand the heavy feelings he carry. And him leaving doesn't mean that he doesn't love seoan, because he didn't disappear out of nowhere. He told seoan that he's taking time for himself. Idc what others say about woowon, he's too misunderstood by people. So even if no one supports him, I will.
Love that he's trying to hold back a bit, but ngl no. Tell him how you feel over holding it in. I'd rather a bit of a possessive loving partner that only wants what's best for you over a tiptoeing one that is changing his nature to feel secure that he can withstand the relationship and not speaking up about a clear abuse of power and mismanagement of his partner as an employee.
Honestly I was always wondering why the hate between the 2 schools since a simple "they're the smart, elite kids vs the dumb,poor kids" was a dumb reason but a previous incident involving suicide? I think is what was implied, is such a better reason for it. I really wanna see how they kinda resolve that 10 year prejudice they placed on both schools, must be hard to fix
Because last time I had some words for the ML, I got labeled as a woman defender and proof that FL's can't be criticised lol We got some overprotective readers for the ML here, so I'll tread lightly...Someone else pointed this out but I really don't like the lack of character development for the ML in this manga. He's been written as avoidant every time the couple reaches a problem, and the weight is always on Yoi's shoulders to initiate and speak up. I really wished ML had learned from their previous conflict and stepped up in communicating rather than keeping it in and avoiding your girlfriend. I respect the decision to end the relationship, it's valid and realistic but yet again, it's very one-sided and lacks consideration of Yoi's feelings. All the way to the end, he's never once asked how she feels about all this. I know a lot of people like to use the fact that they're teenagers, so they have the immediate excuse card to be immature. But as someone who also had to move as a junior in high school (16 at the time), away from my boyfriend, I still had the consideration to communicate with my bf. In fact, I told him right away despite how hurtful the situation was...this is what being in a relationship is all about. Even teenagers can carry a sense of responsibility and consideration for others, they're all not clueless.
Another commenter said it nicely, the main plot device of this manga is ML's lack of delicacy. The author really is depicting the reality of dating an avoidant bf, and the harsh truth of the gf often having to carry the emotional/mental weight of the relationship. It's just sad to see some readers now realizing this, and making excuses for the ML. We can be empathetic towards his situation but not appreciate his actions all at the same time..
