I feel like the uke didn’t rly want to find an alpha but rather he felt that he needed to find one simply bc he was an omega. Like he loves the beta, but he believes that omegas are meant for alphas and vice versa. Kind of like a homosexual man believing he /has/ to be with a woman.

Aw man that actually had a really good premise and had so much potential. Although the storytelling needs a lot improvement, I still found it to be a fairly good read. I think it’s even kind of cute. I feel it would have been better if the story was a long one and showed the progress of high schooler Maki and high schooler Neo. It would also have been cute if the story revolved more arnd him trying to change the future rather than mull over the past bc then we’d get the opportunity to see young Neo slowly falling for Maki while adult Neo keeps trying to “knock some sense” into him. It has major potential and I would rly like to find a manga or webtoon with a similar premise

Tbh I think rather than the story gg from “not lovers to lovers” it’s like “not lovers to them realizing they wanna be lovers”. Like the ending is just the beginning of them starting a relationship if that makes sense? They’re not rly officially tgt /yet/... just fbuddies with smth more. I don’t think it’s a bad story, just not the story everyone is expecting (not lovers to lovers)
