Im still at ch. 41. If I were the queen/empress I will not declare that the btch is the one who did it right after we arrive at the palace so that she will put her guard down her knowing that I do not know who did it and instead wasting time accusing or declaring that btch is the one who did it I would immediately order the knights to go around the hunting grounds and collect all the dead bodies there and invetigate the scene, seeing how the girl knight did not secure the dead bodies kinda irritates me cause her knowing thag something happened to your queen and u cant find her, I would immediately find the evidences that will lead to my queen even without order. I will gladly receive punishment for moving withour order than feeling at lost bcs all of the evidence is now gone.
If the empress move more quickly than declaring that the btch is the one who did it. I think it will be her win.

So... at some point Ron separates from Cale for some time trying to deal (kill) with ARM (the organization). They are the reason him and Beacrox fled to the Western continent. ARM coming and interfering in this continent as they did to the Eastern worries him so he goes to investigate and ends up confronting them.
In that... he gets hurt... badly... he ends up losing one arm... and Cale... well... Gets royally mad... if I'm not wrong till then Cale was foiling their plans so he could get his peace... but after that he truly positions himself against them... there's other reasons too...
But yeah... he gets very, very, veeeery angry with this...

Actually I think if you are someone who is victim of abuse and then when you woke up someone who is really great that even the one who abuses you is scared, the normal reaction is that you will take advantage to this and charge recklessly because of the trauma making your mind blurry and thinking for only revenge and the results of this reckless charge is the one who will make the main charac. To develop and heal herself. It may make some backlash to her but that is normal cause the trauma is taking advatage to her weak mind or mental. But it's fine because there are still many people who will be with you and help you change, develop and heal. The plot is a bit bland but Im fine with it I just want the emperor and the selena will not die easily at least make them feel the abuse or loneliness the fl felt.
(Long story short, you cant get taken out from one situation and put in the complete opposite situation and adjust immediately.)
Um no? Thats not how it always works. Usually in situations like these the abused spend so much time trying to survive that they dont really have time to process what had happened. Extreme cases where they do violently take charge and get revenge are actually extremely rare and most of the time the abused simply want to leave the situation they are in. Cheap revenge plots are so overused and not super realistic. Abused people arent filled with anger ready go burst at their abuser. Theyre scared and alone and if anything dont really feel anything. Not hate, anher or sadness, it is usually just a sort of emptiness, and if its a situation whete family are involved then things become more complicated, as even though the family has hurt you they are still family and so most people in this situation fo tend to just leave and cut their family off without doing anything.
Also her choosing to leave on her own accord is the best and most realistic choice she could have made as that allows her to have time to think to herself and process what has happened, its usually after this period where people make decisions on revenge or not.
The story is not bland, it is realistic and fantastically done for only being 8 chapters in, the direction theyve chosen will allowed the character to get more time to develop her feelings and process what had actually happened and start healing from there.
If what you want is a cheap substanceless revenge plot with badly written trauma that appeals to middle class suburban kids that havent gone through the real world then this most likely isnt for you. Alot of trauma survivors are usually really calm in their demeanor. But i dont deny the existence of the violent, angry trauma survors, but if they were to be violent and angry this story would be the wrong setting. You dont go from completely weak and isolated to violent overnight, there must be a build up in order to execute that properly.
Good examples of these kinds of situations in other manga/manwha are probably anything by harada, but specifically yamamoto,
MADK,
Kings Maker,
Robin and Law in onepiece,
The way to protect the female leads older brother,
I tamed a tryant then ran away

OUROBOROS

And you might think that some of these have the female leads getting revenge, but these characters have not only had time to reflect before gettong stronger but also know what the future will play out like,
Our charachter not only doesnt know what the future will play out like but is also still in what i would say is the backstory phase that the other manwha/mangas have skipped to get to the interesting part.
I personally have high expectations of this and am exited to see where it goes

I am not usually into abuse plots that's why that kind of reaction is the first thing I think maybe that's also why I said that the plot is bland but I have no plans dropping this I'm also looking forward on how the story develops. ik the previous person had already said everything that had to be said but yeah. real life abused people’s immediate instinct isnt revenge. its probably the furthest thing they have in mind. they just want to survive, to be alright. to exact revenge you have to be in a more or less stable state of mind, bust most abuse survivors would take years to even get past that hurdle.
there isnt one way to cope with trauma, but i would say this is the more realistic one honestly.
